This is a display of photographs I have taken during the months of the latest lockdown. It is held in the space generously provided by the owner’s of Process Supplies, a shop of photographic materials in Farringdon. The photos want to tell the story of a shop in Haringey, which has been closed but left untouched since the owner died, 3 years ago. This was a unique place, resembling a traditional cypriot village shop. Its owner was very well known and loved in the local community. By taking photos of objects still displayed in the shop’s windows, I wanted to make a tribute to the owner and possibly capture the suspended feeling of the place.
All photos are on B/W film, hand printed in the darkroom.
