Thoughts on HOME: Working on a theme (Meeting & Discussion)
Saturday 16th July, 2011
2.00 - 5.00pm
2nd Floor, Red Lion
41 Hoxton Street
London N1 6NH (MAP)
Nearest tube: Old Street or Hoxton Overground
Cost: Free for LIP Members
This event is for those wanting to develop ideas surrounding the theme of HOME, with an interest to submit work for the Winter issue of fLIP magazine.
Editor Tiffany Jones will host a discussion on the theme, and together we will brainstorm ideas and concepts both as a group and one on one with fellow photographers. For those who have previously attended a satellite group meeting, this event should have a familiar feel - it will be informal yet focused and encouraging.
If you have work in progress to share and discuss (preferably on the theme of HOME, though not absolutely necessary), please bring it along in print form or on a memory stick for viewing on a small available laptop. Members wanting specific feedback from Tiffany are advised to have with them an edit of up to 20 images for review.
The submission deadline for the HOME issue of fLIP is 12th September 2011 and submissions can be made online at this link.
Red Lion has a kitchen with food and drink available to order.
