Adrian Capps is a professional retoucher and photographer with over ten years experience working with Photoshop. Producing work for some of the most demanding of clients: from Diageo to Nestlé; retouching people, animals or baby food it’s all in a day's work.

This workshop aims to help those who are new to Photoshop and the idea of a digital darkroom. The first half of the day we will take a tour through the key photographic features within Photoshop, trying to demystify the terminology used, so that afterwards you will have the confidence to explore and experiment at your leisure.

For the second half we will concentrate on some essential components, for example: Improving tone and contrast using Levels or Curves, working with Layers and Masks. You will have time to work through tasks and to problem solve in order to fix these in your mind.

You are welcome to bring along your own laptop and version of Photoshop but it is not an essential for this workshop.
